The Nation’s Greatest Treasures Participates in Hong Kong International Film Festival --China’s Original Variety Show Opens Unlimited Possibilities for Global Success

The production team of the Nation’s Greatest Treasures participated in the Hong Kong International Film Festival between March 19-21, 2018, and hosted a special promotion for the program at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on March 20, 2018.

Yu Lei, Producer and Chief Director of the Nation’s Greatest Treasures, Leung Ka Fai, well-known actor, Hui Wing Mau, Chairman of Hong Kong Shimao Group, Eve Tam, Museum Director of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Zhang Lin, Deputy General Manager of CHNPEC, Zhang Jinlin, Deputy General Manager of CDIMC and other guests introduced the theme and content of the program to media.

The first season of the Nation’s Greatest Treasures has integrated China’s top cultural resources: nine National Museums participated in the program, offering 27 most invaluable national treasures, presented by various groups of the Nation’s Greatest Treasures guardians. The program has combined multiple art forms, including variety show, documentary, stage performance and reality show, and pioneered the creation of “documentary-style variety”. Taking the audience across time and space and presented them with condensed memories, as well as arousing the Chinese people’s sense of patriotism. Since the program was first broadcasted more than two months ago, interest in museums among audience has grown significantly. Thanks to the program, cultural heritage has been awakened, and the Nation’s Greatest Treasures has been hailed by Guang Ming Daily and other national media as a spearhead of “2018 - the first year of Chinese classical cultural variety show”.
