Dim Sum TV Signs Partnership Agreement With Anhui
Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group

Anhui has historically been one of China’s cultural-rich provinces. Following the integration of the country’s cultural industries into the national development strategy, Anhui is quick to strengthen cooperation with Hong Kong. On October 26, the Anhui provincial government held a Cultural Industries Projects Promotion Conference & Signing Ceremony in Hong Kong, during which a total of 30 bilateral agreements were signed. One of these was the partnership agreement between Dim Sum TV and Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group, which paves the way for joint film and TV drama productions.

According to Mr. Kit Szeto, the choice of Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group as Dim Sum TV’s partner is mainly prompted by the potential for development of the province’s cultural industries. Over the next 5 years, Anhui will be stepping up its efforts to build the “$100 Billion Industry” and elevate the province from cultural-rich to one of the nation’s cultural stronghold. This undertaking will also have the welcome effect of creating many business opportunities for Hong Kong businessmen.

In recent years, Anhui’s cultural industry has established itself as a force to be reckoned with, having registered growth of over 30% for 5 consecutive years. It has also been among the nation’s front runners in corporate development, capitalization, structural innovation and the success of its cultural export. All these have made it one of the province’s industrial and economic rising stars.
