Ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary
of the establishment of the HKSAR
and to launch "A Decade’s Witnesses "

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, "A Decade’s Witnesses", a special program by Dim Sum TV done in collaboration with Guangdong Television and Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, has been produced. Through interviewing 11 influential and renowned celebrities who have a deep understanding of Hong Kong, the program aims to reveal the challenges in the previous decade and their expectations on the future from political, economic, cultural, sports and healthcare points of view.

On 24th June, a program launch cocktail party for "A Decade’s Witnesses", hosted by the above 3 organizations, was held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Happy Valley Clubhouse. Guests presented included representatives from the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Publicity Department of Guangdong Provincial Committee, International Co-operation Department State Administration of Radio, Film and TV of Guangdong, Southern Media Co-operation, and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. Officials from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, interviewees in the program as well as reporters from over 30 media channels in Guangdong and Hong Kong were among the guests as well.

"A Decade’s Witnesses" will be broadcasted by the News Channel and the Satellite Channel of Guangdong Television starting 25th June. It will also be shown in Hong Kong by Dim Sum TV (channel 539 of now TV) on 2nd July. In addition, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po will conduct exclusive features on the program from 10th July onwards.
