“Dim Sum TV Honoured Again At The 5th ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme.
On April 23, the Hong Kong Employee Retraining Board (ERB) held the award presentation ceremony for the 5th ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme.

Since the ERB launched its Manpower Developer Award Scheme in 2009, a total of 289 organizations have won the award. This year, 46 organizations have joined their ranks, while another 129 had their award certifications extended. These 175 “Manpower Developers” represent over 30 different industries, a combined workforce of over 400,000 employees, and a total of approximately 7 million hours of employee retraining last year.

The guests of honour included Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin Chung, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Mr. William Leung Wing Cheung, Chairman of the ERB. Speaking at the event, Mr. Cheung pointed out that people are Hong Kong’s most valuable resource. The successful experiences of the various ERB Manpower Developer Award winners make for useful case studies for other organizations in their own employee retraining efforts. This in turn will help make Hong Kong an even more diversified, adaptable and competitive metropolis.
Dim Sum TV is again among this year’s winners of the ERB Manpower Developer Award. Since the third year of the award scheme, the TV network has won the award every single year.
