“Dimension of Ink” Anatta 2018 Exhibition

Dim Sum TV was invited by the Hong Kong artist Anatta to his individual exhibition titled "Dimension of Ink" Anatta 2018 at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Center running from May 23 to May 28. The work is a series of "Landscape Impression" that was completed between the years of 2015 and 2018. The Western painting ambience is created through the overarching of abstract art and impression.

The theme of the exhibition is reflected through the blending of light perception, dynamics, textures and abstraction painted on the smooth cardboards. Different shades of black, white and gray are predominantly used to depict the theme of nature, highlighting the mountains, rocks and the streams.

The artist Anatta was born in Guangdong, China in 1957 and settled in Hong Kong in 1966. After over 20 years of work in product design and gifting, Anatta started his career as an artist at the age of 44, and is now devoted to oil painting and contemporary ink innovative artwork. Anatta pointed out that one way to interpret life and the world is to express his knowledge and feelings of the universe through adopting various rich themes, changing colors and open thinking. These artwork allow the viewers to taste the change in the paintings, and discover their interpretation according to one’s own experiences.
