Dim Sum TV Takes Part
in the Inauguration Ceremony of
the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Through Train.
On April 16, the inauguration ceremony of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Through Train was held at the Hung Hom MTR Station in Hong Kong. A train specially painted with the Asian Games emblem and mascots was officially launched on its mission to publicize and serve the Asian Games. Ms. Danni Lin, presenter from Dim Sum TV, the event's supporting organization, hosted the ceremony.

Mr. Fang Da-er, Marketing Director of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee, Ms. Ma Ruimin and Ms. Carmen Li, General Manager, Intercity & Freight, the MTR Corporation, sent the train on its way by pushing the engine's lever. In his speech, Mr. Fang said that the maiden run of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Through Train would get the city-wide Asian Games celebrations in Hong Kong off to an auspicious start, and expressed his hope that it would provide further impetus for Hong Kong people to participate in and volunteer for the Asian Games.
The Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Through Train, specially transformed from a regular KTT train, provides a daily shuttle service between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, spreading the word about the Guangzhou Asian Games to over 30 million people in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou and other Pearl River Delta cities along the line.
Danni Lin is both a Guangzhou Volunteer Promotion Ambassador and an Asian Games Volunteer Promotion Ambassador.
