The Cultural Professional Committee is a non-governmental organization under the auspices of the Guangdong Association for the Promotion of Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, with a mandate to promote closer cultural collaboration between the three regions. In addition to providing policy advice to the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao on cultural cooperation, the committee will also take the lead in facilitating trilateral exchange and collaboration on efforts to explore, study and enrich southern Guangdong culture. At the same time, it will also assist in the strengthening of the professional service platform for civilian cultural enterprises in Guangdong and the broadening of the channels for direct financing, paving the way for successful civilian cultural enterprises to raise capital through public listing in Hong Kong.
