Macau Cable TV was founded in 1999. The sustained economic growth of recent years has created the demand for a higher-quality urban environment. With the trust and support of the government, Macau Cable TV is confident about its long-term growth. To mark its 12th anniversary, the network signed a HK$1 billion joint capitalization and integrated services cooperation memorandum with the two largest banks in Macau, the Bank of China and Tai Fung Bank. This memorandum will enable the network to expand its service portfolio and provide the medium to long term investment required in the development of advanced cable network services.

The city’s digitalization is set to go ahead. Looking to the future, Macau Cable TV hopes to speed up the construction of its network, and transform Macau into digital city with a high-penetration rate and a mature technological infrastructure that can compare to those in Seoul and Singapore.
