Hong Kong compatriots’ celebration of the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China variety show and press conference
In celebration of the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China this year, the National Day Organising Committee of Compatriots in Hong Kong (NDOC) presented a grand variety show at 8.15pm on 1st of October at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hung Hom.
On the afternoon of 20th of September, the NDOC held a press conference, with Dr. Choi Koon Shum, Secretary General of the NDOC, Mr. Chiu Yin-wa, Assistant Director of Home Affairs, Mrs. Ng Chu Lien Fan, Director of Publicity of NDOC and Mr. Ko Chi Sum, Chief Executive Officer of Spring Drama Production Co., Ltd. introducing the contents of the program and the evening to the media representatives.

This year’s National Day evening show was amazing and attractive. A total of eight performances were presented by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army troops in Hong, art troupe and honor guard, the Hong Kong Dance Company and other performing groups. Along with celebrities and other artists, the performances revolved around the theme of "Realizing the Chinese dream” to praise of the motherland’s remarkable achievements and to express the love and blessings towards the motherland.
Tickets can be obtained for free starting from 9am on 22nd of September at the District Offices in Hong Kong. The variety show would also be broadcasted by the major electronic media organizations. Dim Sum TV would broadcast the "National Day Variety Show" in the evening of 2nd of October, and the "National Youth Concert" program at 5:30 pm on 4th of October, so that everyone in Hong Kong could enjoy the wonderful performances and celebrate the National Day.
