Mr. Chen Yongguang, Deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong Television, visits Dim Sum TV
On November 19, 2009, the Deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong Television, Mr. Chen Yongguang, was invited to Dim Sum TV’s broadcasting center in Hong Kong for a goodwill visit. He was welcomed to the facility by Mr. Kit Szeto, Director & Chief Executive Officer of Dim Sum TV, and other senior executives. Mr. Chen was given a tour of the center’s broadcast control room and watched a special screening of Dim Sum TV’s showreel. Afterwards, he also took part in an informal discussion with the network’s management.

During the discussion, Mr. Chen and Mr. Kit Szeto exchanged ideas on broadcast management and TV production. Mr. Chen was highly appreciative of Dim Sum TV’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau regional focus and its unique Greater Pearl River Delta cultural perspective. He also expressed his wish that Dim Sum TV would continue to enhance the interaction and exchange between its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau programming and those of other networks, and help promote the Greater Pearl River Delta region to overseas Chinese communities in the future. Mr. Chen also welcomed the bilateral initiatives to pool the resources and expertise of Dim Sum TV and Guangdong TV, and looked forward to quality, lively programming evolving from this effort.
